And I step in about five minutes late, only to find my teammates discussing something important with the teacher. The teacher turns to me and says, “You need to get your team together, or they’re going to 86 you!”
Whoa, what?
So apparently when I was gone all last week, (If you’ve paid attention and read my bullshit long ass posts you’ll see that I had some depressing stuff happen) and my teammates are freaking out. I’m the group leader, and without me, all goes to hell and chaos. Seriously, these six people are on the verge of just bursting out in tears and running out of the room panicking.
Fifteen minutes later, the teacher comes back. My response? “We’re done already.” He looks at me like I’m crazy.
Let me break it down for you…
In a matter of fifteen minutes I had managed to get everyone organized, I set deadlines for when our section of the project needed to be done, and set up not only our project, but our presentation as well. All in fifteen minutes! Everyone understood, everyone was happy with it.
Did I ever mention how awesome I was?
